Days 69-75 were a busy time for Bywater CT, with Germany Tour as main event and five one day races to fill the schedule. The overall result was definitely satisfying, with 80.000 prize money won and 600 OCM Tour points gathered which will be a big help in retaining in Top Division in 40 days when we lose points from Porto.
Hero of the week award goes to Zack Davie, who got into perfect form and had great effects of it - won a stage and finished 4th in GC of Germany Tour, and additionaly was second in French classic race Criterium La Provence. The only disappointment is that once again, as in Perm, he came 2nd in YC (this time losing it to Vitaliy Bayer, possible winner of GC as well).
Two other riders had their share in this success - Heath Deckard used fully his first chance to captain the team and was second in Andorra Redonda, while Herman Eagles, who accopmanied team in Germany despite not being able to ride the tour, won a race from Ulm to Augsburg. On the other hand, Karsten Steels was a disappointment, first finishing low in Sicilia Rotondo, then injuring himself just after start line of Germany Tour. If he continues the series of bad results, it is possible that we will leave the team after his 30 days contract runs out.
Tomorrow riders have a day off, with only a relaxing practise ride in the morning to fulfill the requirements of completing the full route of Germany Tour. Zack Davie cannot go up or down, so the team will only watch races for yellow and green jerseys, which are both still undecided.
Tomorrow morning, when Germany Tour GC points are officially added, the team will be at an all-time high, with 2798 points and at 9th place in the ranking. The aim of having over 1600 points taken after day 40 is getting nearer reality, almost 70% done. Next days will see the team continue racing a lot, to win as much as possible till the end of the season.

congrats, great tour for Davie, and many other good races at the same time.
For me the 2nd place is awesome, bet being so close to victory makes it taste a bit bad...
it was nice to ride once again a tour with you :)
